5 feminine tips to level up your confidence!
Most of us want to feel confident when we step out into the world. And while I do believe having confidence starts from within, there are practical tools that can help us feel confident on a day to day. For many of us it takes trial and error to learn what works for us and what doesn’t. I encourage everyone to stay open and explorative on their journey, but this blog is meant to expedite some of your experience with practical tools to level up your confidence.
The first tip is to get fitted for the right bra! It took me a while to learn how important it was that I feel confident in my clothes. We cannot feel confident in our clothing if things are falling out or not properly tucked in. How do you know you’re wearing the wrong size? It’s tight, there is side boob, the strap is loose or too tight in spite of us adjusting it, or the cup is not laying flat on the boob. There can be so many indicators and I’ve seen so many women out and about and it is clear they are not in the appropriate bra. Places like Dillard’s, Macy’s and other department stores do the fitting for free. Go and get fitted today, I promise it makes a difference.
The second tip is own shear or seamless underwear. When wearing skirts, dresses, and fitted pants we do not want our underwear to show. It can feel uncomfortable to wear a nice, fitted dress and we can see our underwear showing. This is not cute ladies and is an easy fix. Next is learning your body shape. When we know our body shape it can help us feel confident and sexier in our bodies. There are several types of shapes such as pear, bottle, apple, triangle, and rectangle. I encourage you to head on over to Youtube or take a quiz online to learn what your body type is.
The fourth tip I acknowledge can take time and perhaps money, but I have seen it make a world of difference in how we feel about our appearance. Tailoring our clothes if needed can take how we feel about ourselves to the next level. Doing so polishes our look and makes us feel luxurious like our clothing was made just for us. I’ve seen videos online where people take what might be cheap clothing and get it tailored and it looks like they’ve paid a lot of money. It can be the little things that make us feel confident.
The fifth tip is something all of us can do and that is adjusting our posture. Standing with our chins up and head straight matters. It lets the world know it is okay for us to be seen. Standing tall makes a difference in how we feel and how others see us. I encourage you to be mindful today of your posture practice, practice, practice!
Take this information and save it for later. You may not be able to do them all at once but you sure can keep them in mind and apply them when you can. You are worth feeling good in your skin!
